Dr. Neil Busis received his B.A. from Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut, and his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. He did an internship and residency in medicine at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland, and a residency in neurology at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, where from 1993 to 1994 Dr. Busis was chief teaching resident.
Dr. Busis is the recipient of several fellowships from the National Instititues of Health, Massachusetts General Hospital, Marine Biology Laboratory (Woods Hole, Massachusetts), and Intermountain Health Care (Salt Lake City, Utah).
Dr. Neil Busis is board certified in neurology and with added qualifications in clinical neurophysiology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, and by the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine.
From 1981 to 1985, Dr. Busis was a clinical fellow in neurology at Harvard Medical School and is currently clinical associate professor, department of neurology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine.
